Doably Privacy Policy

Doably is a to-do list and planning application published by Xanadu Studios. This policy explains how Doably handles information when you use the Android application.

Information you enter

Doably lets you record task titles, projects, scheduled dates and times, reminder preferences, recurrence choices, and planning settings. By default, this information is stored locally on your device.

Information we collect or share

Doably does not require an account. If you choose to enable account sync, Doably uses Firebase Authentication and Google Cloud Firestore to associate your account and securely store a copy of your task data for synchronization and backup. We do not sell, rent, use for advertising, or share your personal information for independent third-party marketing. The app does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, or behavioral tracking.

Purchases

Optional Doably Star purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Google Play handles payment information under its own privacy policy.

Device backup and exports

Depending on your Android settings, the operating system may include Doably data in an encrypted device or cloud backup managed by your device or backup provider. Doably also lets you export a JSON backup. You choose where that file is shared or saved and are responsible for protecting or deleting exported copies.

Permissions and notifications

Doably requests notification permission so it can deliver task reminders that you choose to schedule. This feature does not collect or transmit personal information.

Data retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete tasks, clear Doably data in Settings, clear the app's storage, uninstall the app, or remove associated backups and exported files. If you enable account sync, a synchronized copy may remain in the cloud until you turn off sync or ask us to delete it. To request deletion of synced data, contact us using the address below.

Children's privacy

Doably is a general productivity application and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Doably's features or privacy practices change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
